Ban toy guns and train them in real guns. Also show just how it really is when someone is shot. They don’t always die immediately. They might scream and writhe in pain. If you want a gun culture then go all the way or not have one.
I don’t remember a MFU “camera pistol.” I did have the MFU play set (that included something that looked more like a Colt M1911 than a Walther P38). But I didn’t get a trick camera until I got the Secret Sam kit. Both the camera and the gun on that could be operated from inside or outside the case.

I never let my kids have toy guns. When they were older I taught them how to use real guns and they both received marksmanship medals in the Navy.
