You must live in a very culturally impoverished city. In Chicago there are Greek, Polish, Lithuanian, French, German, and Puerto Rican festivals, to name just a few. The problem is that because most Blacks were brought here as slaves and had their names changed, they no longer have a tie to their nation of origin, so they cannot identify with Senegal, Ghana, Liberia, Mali, etc. All they can identify with is their continent.
