Homer: ... the bear was about to deal a death blow. Then the tide turned... Dog: ... literally! Homer, the reluctant soul... A swell came in with the tide, suddenly lifting the boat... just enough for the bear to miss his target and cut the ropes... we were free! Preferring the taste of seals, the bear went after Duncan, leading it away from me... which was fortunate because the mighty beast's claw didn't miss entirely. Next week: lost and found life.

I seldom understand whats going on but I try hard to not miss a strip. I think if any one story line went from beginning to end I might be able to keep up. But,….. perhaps not.

The drawing on this strip is amazing… plus the story lines do keep me coming back. Thank goodness my paper is still running the daily..

I like the spelling on the back of the computer: G and the symbol for eternity - sly way to spell God.
