No, they didn’t leave him . . . they just didn’t happen to be interested in his project.

He never had them to begin with. They just all sat still in one place for a minute for their own particular reasons…

It’s cute that it’s the chimp who is telling Tarzan that Santa is real. (And the face of the chimp is almost as lovable as a Wiley-bear. Almost, but not quite…)

Love this cartoon. Loved it the first time it ran, too.Santa’s lights are sturdier than mine. But his were made by elves, mine was made in China.

@Varnes, Timothy Leary’s dead. No, no, no, no, he’s on the outside looking in.As for Santa being real, if he were then the string of lights would be tangled, not perfectly straightened out.

@dabuggerSanta is obviously weightless, and so is his serves-100-million-kids bag of toys, or the reindeer could never fly the sleigh!

Plumbob Wilson and LadyKat: The first face to face words are not recorded, but I have thought it was most likely, “Bon jour, mademoiselle Porter” since French was his first human language, and as an educated woman, she would have been at least functional in that language.

I personally wish the Tarzan stories hadn’t been so popular….He could have written more John Carter of Mars books….Those stories were much more interesting to me….But there are only 11 of them….Because the demand was for Tarzan…..Oh, well…..

Both ends of the vine on which the man with the knife is swinging seem to be attached to something. And his legs appear to be straddling that vine. I think that when he reaches the limit of the vine’s upward movement, he will be very unpleasantly surprised.
