Why do people buy merchandise with a company logo on it? They are unpaid advertisers for the companies. The multi-million dollars companies appreciate your being their walking billboard.

Because his figure is such a fashion icon, Nike would rather Bob take his way of gaining public attention to a competing brand. Unfortunately for all of the makers of sports attire, there are more people resembling Bob’s physical build than there are who resemble the people in their ads. Same goes for most clothing catalogs. I know absolutely no one who resembles the models in the outdoor clothing/camping/hiking issues.

The brand I see a lot of people around my area cover themselves in is Under Armor. Typically the more articles they have on the bigger the A hole they are.

The founder of Adidas and his brother had a falling out. The brother went across the street and started his own company called Puma. The strange part of this story is that they still shared the same house for almost 40 years after that.

In the 1936 Olympics Adi offered a pair of shoes to Jesse Owens. Jesse did fairly well. Adidas had only two stripes at that time, adding the third after WWII.

I blacked out the swoosh on my shoes and quit buying Nike shoes.

When I ran track in high school, we were given free Nike track shoes but I didn’t like the way they fit me. They were too narrow for my feet, I prefer New Balance.
