I went to my son’s on the fourth to watch a movie. We couldn’t find anything of interest on all his apps or that we hadn’t already seen. An hour of surfing and we gave up.

Gee, I remember when we got three channels. If it wasn’t raining or snowing.

I remember signing off, showing the American flag and playing the Anthem then the test pattern humming…now it’s disgusting ….cable co gives you 300 channels and you only watch 5….all for $$$$$$

I had a strict rule with my granddaughters. I’d read them any story they wanted, but not the same story in the same night.

Reminds me of last weekend, no one wanted to watch The Princess Bride…again.

Judging books and movies by their cover. It’s difficult!

Seems like the two scenes have different objectives.

One is a choice of things that are liked.

The other is a trying to find something you don’t dislike…

On Cheech and Chong’s Big Bambu album, at the beginning of a long sketch spoofing TV shows, Cheech drops by Chong’s pad and asks what he’s watching. Chong replies, “I don’t know, it’s a movie about Indians, but it’s really boring.” Cheech says, “Hey man, that’s not a movie, man. That’s a test pattern, man!” Chong answers, “Far out.” A test tone is audible in the background.
