I can’t remember, was that scene in Adventures in Laundry or the sequel?
“The trap” that accumulates bits of clothing is the main reason we hang our laundry on the clothesline out back, the other reason is the fantastic fresh smell.

How the heck do your cousins escape to hide in the corners of my rooms? At least there are likely very few living critters in the dryer’s trap.
With all the lint my dryer collects, I’m surprised my clothes aren’t in shreds.
