I have no joke here. That was just a very beautiful thing to say, Mr. Parisi.

Back when I was in college, I had a discussion with the person I was dating about the need for roughage in one’s diet. Some time after that (I forget how long), I pulled out my copy of All Things Must Pass. It’s a triple album so the edge (I’m sure it had a name) was kind of wide. And it now had a strip of paper attached to it so the side read “All Things Must Pass <— WHY YOU NEED ROUGHAGE”

I wish he hadn’t smoked like a chimney and died young from cancer. He had so much more to give.

Not sure about “sticking to beliefs”. Beliefs should change with new information and experiences. Taking care of “mind body and soul” means improving and shedding bad beliefs that can hold you back.

George Harrison…a gentle soul and always my favorite Beatle from the first Ed Sullivan appearance when I was 10 yrs. old. Sunday nights most aunts, uncles, and cousins were at my grandparents. Remember Nanny and Pappy shooing all us kids into the living room and shutting the door so the grown ups didn’t have to hear that “noise.”

Considering their indelible impact on popular music which continues to this day, it is remarkable that the Beatles’ recording career as measured by their Billboard chart history lasted a mere eight years from 1964 until 1972. In their glory days, Paul and John got all the accolades while George was content to stay in the background while performing some of the greatest guitar work of all time. We finally had the chance to fully appreciate him once the group - sadly - broke up and he began recording on his own. As with so many gifted artists, we lost him way too soon and can only speculate as to what he would have accomplished had he lived to a normal life expectancy. He is missed!!

Just watched (yet again) the Concert for George at the Royal Albert Hall, on PBS. Never gets old. RIP George Harrison and thank you for your wonderful contributions to our world.

This is very nice sentiment. However, I have been watching Ringo on a few talk shows and I honestly think he would also be a good man to emulate.
