It’s August in Vermont, and we may get frost tonite!

i’ve only used my A/C for a total of 5 hours all summer

it’s been lousy so far

MasterDiver and Bald–your comments make me so envious. Here in Houston, we had over 70 days in which the heat index was triple digits.

I have central air and it hasn’t ran that much this summer, its windy and only 60 today feels likev October

So do I, bald. Other than that, I open up the windows, put on one of my bikinis, and lay on the bed! And if I want to get any cooler, I go down to the lake in my same outfit with a friend and we swim underwater until sundown.

DoraDingle, i open a window in the living room and one in the bedroom and run the fan in my room to keep a bit of air flow and that’s it. that can be a long time underwater

Wish that were true where I live. It is HOT here and dry.
