My wife and I are quite fortunate. When our doctor realized we hadn’t seen him for a while, he reached out to us to ask why. When we told him that I was out of work and we had no insurance, he told us to come in whenever we needed him anyway. Kept us relatively intact for almost a year until social services caught up with us and put us on Medicaid. But don’t let anyone fool you into believing this economy is “recovering.” It still sucks. Been out of work two full years now. No end in sight.
K M, And it gets worse (first fired, last hired, regardless of reason), until you are too old. The “job creators” only care about becoming tax free. Health care for all, or a sick nation.
