sassy1: One of my neighbors (a WW2 vet, 84 yrs. old), still blows off and shovels his own drive. Probably in better shape that 95% of the rest of the people in our little town.
Flagstaff has snow. Phoenix has pools. Ever try to clean a pool? No shovel, just a big net for landing Tuna. In ’80 there was a snowstorm in Phila.-got me home at 9PM Fri. eve. Had to turn around & go up the Jersey side of the Delaware river. Two friends at work died that weekend shovelling old ladies out. Told wife, my attack will be cleaning my pool. Upstate AZ just had 30" of snow. Will wait for pool cleaning. ’Nuff said!

Shame on you Nick, you should not be shoveling snow at your age. Pay someone to do it.

Meteorologists can’t predict the weather for certain. Despite the satellites and other technology, and it all comes down to a guessing game.

Weather forecasting: where you can be wrong over half the time and still be best in your field.

It’s because they do their own walks that some of these folks reach the age they do.

I’m glad to have escaped from the shoveling back in IL. I can still go to see snow if I want up in Flagstaff (and I DO NOT).

Wish I had a dollar for all their wrong headed forecasts.
