As did radio ads in 1971. They still advertise them in magazines, newspapers, and billboards to this day, but the familiar variations of warnings that you see on the side of the packs*.
And don’t forget, “So round, so firm, so fully packed” (Pall Mall) and, “Call for Pheeeleep Mo-orris” (Phillip Morris) with the strains of The Grand Canyon Suite playing in the background. And the tapdancing packs of cigarettes with majorette boots on (Old Gold)
Love One Big Happy and the current sequence is great fun. In the 40’s I listened to a radio quiz program that asked the participants to spell everything backwards. It was sponsored by Camel cigarettes and the chorus sang, “Take your seat in the Lemac box!”

Is that brand still around? I haven’t had anything to do with tobacco since ‘78. I’m not even around it, so I have no idea.

“Have a Lark, have a Lark, have a Lark today. There is nothing like the taste of Lark. Have a Lark!” (to the tune of “The William Tell Overture”.)

I liked the Kent commercials.“With a Dutchman, you have a big windmill,to a Scotsman, you have regiment,to a smoker, it’s the taste of Kent.”
All cigarettes are cancer sticks though.
