I doubt if Walt Disney ever saw these pages, living in or near Kansas City as he was. Besides, he was only six when Feininger’s comics career so briefly thrived.
I’m sitting here feeling sick and a little downbeat, but these charming cartoons are helping me feel a bit better. It’s amazing how a cartoon published over a 100 years ago can life the spirits. I’m fascinated by this little boy with blonde curls, a powerful imagination and a strong sense of adventure. Feininger was a wonderful artist. Thank you, Sunday Comics.

Beautiful! Great imagination. I wonder if Walt Disney was inspired by some of these.

Great stuff, Feininger had quite a mind and could certainly draw, keep it coming.

It is an Honor and unlooked for pleasure to see these old comics; that, otherwise, I would never had the chance.
