I really enjoy Scratch. He is a refreshing change from the cloying cuteness of Louie and the mice.

I miss the color….sometimes it’s the only way I can tell one pirate from another.

I too miss the color.

gmartin – I can’t agree more. Doc Toon – no, the mice don’t make the strip, they ruin it.

Now if all the Green Ship guys are doing is running errands, why does Scratch need all those supplies? I smell a “rat” here, LOL!

Yeah, I have a hunch Scratch is here to stay. Cats chase mice, what is Scratch doing wrong?

I heart Scratch.

Scratch is the perfect cat, after all. 1) Hunts mice, which is the entire purpose of cats on ships. 2) Ignores everything humans say. That’s what cats do.

Without the mice, there would be no airplanes, cars, etc running around the ship. Of course, the daily traffic report wouldn’t be necessary either.Have a GOOD DAY, Mateys!!!

I asked my dog, Sailor Boy. He says the perfect cat is one that is running like hell.(Yes, that really is his name!)

I have at least one that would back sailor boy into a corner. Don’t believe that they all run, Mike.

And Scratch has gone to the usual obedience school for cats: None U.

As a cat person, I wouldn’t mind Scratch leaving the strip and let the mice take on the rabbits (like that’s ever going to happen).
