So much for the traditional hot dogs and beer at the ball game.

Good morning, Crew!

We have a young Eastern Cottontail visit us in the yard. Because we don’t mess with it, it hangs around even if we are out in the yard. I broke my own rule and threw out some iceberg lettuce scraps and a carrot for it. I learned that wildlife prefers its natural food. I guess hostas are “natural” food for rabbits. Wife acted like Charlie over that, but when I told her that the were owls using our area, she said, " I hope it leaves Bunny alone!". She looked at me as the savage I must be when I told her that owls got to eat too.

Deer come into our yard and always attack and level so evenly the stalks of one special hosta with white flowers. Unfortunately they run out during the day in front of our cars…………..Ann Arbor had to get rid of many in the parks earlier this year. Deer meat donated. They are not cute any more. They eat other things in the yard………..aaaaaargh.

Good afternoon Crew!

I had pet bunnies that absolutely adore dandelions.

What happens in Charley’s garden stays in Charley’s garden.

My home is rural so there are all sorts of critters in the yard. This afternoon there were three rabbits in my driveway. They waited until I closed the gate and politely moved to the side as I drove to the house. I don’t have dogs or cats so they’re sort of “tame”. They help keep the weeds under control and always stop, briefly, if I say “Hello” & acknowledge my presence. Don’t talk much though…

I just noticed that girl rabbit has earrings on.She would look better with just some suggestive curves rather than obviously needing a bra.
