While Henry and Charlie attend to mundane safe cracking, Nate ponders the age old (and still unanswered) question: When you shut the refrigerator door, does the light really go out?
I can sympathize with Nate. It really is so difficult to walk past the refrigerator with out opening the door … “just for a look”, to see if there is anything there that you feel like.
I don’t understand. Perhaps i’m misinterpreting things here, but it looks like the Green Pirate is reading a book or magazine and yet apparently the only light source is coming from the fridge. So how was he reading before Nate opened up the door? Or is he holding something else in his hands?
@Ahem, while it may “look” like a book to the untrained eye, it’s actually an early version Kindle. The “page” that you see in the last frame was a moveable flip screen that was later replaced by a stationary one for superior readability.
Nate’s not used to being able to open the refrigerator door due to the RAF (Rat Air Force). However, eureka, a refrigerator he can open he thinks without anyone looking…..I can just imagine what a fourth panel would be…….
The good guys are robbing the green ship. No problems, gonna get away with it, until Nate opens their fridge door – couldn’t help it – alerting the green crew to the heist, next panel is big sword fight.

Nate’s going to need that snack for the energy needed to get out of there in one piece.
Good morning, Crew!

This one reminds me of a gag I heard a while back, based on a grammar rule.
“I before E except after C.
… unless you run a feisty heist on a weird beige foreign neighbor."
Good Evening, Crew.
