I’m actually starting to like that smell…it’s the familiar smell of my sweet chocolate boy! He just turned 13, and I can see how he’s winding down. It breaks my heart and I know I’ll miss everything about him when he’s gone—even that wet dog smell! I love him sooooo much!

Don’t have a lab, but my dog will try to roll in ANYTHING nasty after a bath. I guess it is a dog thing.

When I had my boy, a pit-bull lab mix, I bathed him in an oatmeal dog shampoo for his dry skin. That kept the odor down, also. Miss him so much!
