Almost got by this year without zucchinis but a relative brought by one right out of the movie, “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”.

I made a cool patio chair out of it.

He should have learned by now that almost no one wants that stuff – but noooo – the misattributed quote of someone (not Einstein) that doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity seems to fit here

I always wondered why, at the nursery, the zucchini seed packets had more than one seed.

Zucchini is healthy, filling, low-calorie, and easy to grow. If I still had a yard I’d grow them.

If the rabbits want to leave the ship on a raid, they have to take a bag of zucchini.

I’ve heard you can integrate zucchini into brownies. Never tried it though.

Someone gave my mother some zucchinis a while back. Both of my sisters in law gave some great recipes for them.

Zucchini is so hard to dispose of. Like rhubarb, it grows too much.

Surely zucchini can be grown in poor countries. It would provide an almost endless supply of food for starving people. Not good food mind you, but still food.

I have to wonder why he grew so much zucchini if he knew he wasn’t going to eat it all. Feeling generous, perhaps? If so, should’ve scouted out his intended recipients first …

    ’Evening, Crew.

My mom planted a packet of seeds one year. She learned her lesson. Next year she planted a few seeds. Not all of them. She made pickles (both gherkin-size and sliced sandwich-type), she put them thru a food processor to pulverize them and froze them for using as the liquid in making bread. She made a tomato, zucchini, garlic, onion stew(?) and froze it so we could have all winter long (was delicious and tasted fresh in the middle of winter). She found all kinds of ways to use zucchini that were wonderful! And disguised the taste of the zucchini!
