RJ: A president has to represent the entire nation, from nutjob to shining nutjob. verne: but can we really say brittany from "Glee" reflects the face of that nation? tv: ooh! mirrors confuse me... RJ: yes! verne: we! hammy: can!
That’s what I love about this country. It’s the only one where you can insult and praise it at the same time (not many countries let you insult the leader like this—and where else would people actually vote for someone like Brittany)
one might even ask how we as Americans would elect one who has no qualifications but community organizer – or actually think that a main governmental party is something other than what they are simply because they keep the same name. yes only in America can one express their opinions – criticize their leaders – hold another election to try to silence the opposition – and actually believe that we are informed by watching the main talking head media, the comedy channel, and mtv video and sound bites – yes only in America – do we have so much and actually care so little of how we got it and how we keep it from becoming the same as every other country. does history repeat itself? over and over and over and over – yes we can!!!!!!! and over the last decade we have proved it!!!!
Shakespeare said it best: “The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers”That would leave a lot of senate and congressional openings to be filled by ordinary people who would not give in to “Legal-Speak”
