It’s not politics, just a lesson from a racoon, turtle, and squirrel that their environment, on both sides of the hedge actually, is in severe danger, and it ain’t hardly the “nukes” everyone wastes time focusing on. It ain’t so much just the house, and the cabinet full of nuts, more than a winter supply for Hammie.

i appreciate that there are some people that object to “politics” being injected into otherwise nominally amusing ‘cartoons’, really I do! Let’s be clear here, though. In 2018 America, it’s almost impossible to avoid “politics” of one kind or other! The solution, for THIS venue (and it’s a long-term strategy, at best), is to avoid the cartoon. This means “don’t read it” which translates to not posting comments decrying the political content (and annoying those of us that enjoy the ‘strip’)!

BTW: those who refuse to read, or listen to those who don’t parrot their own beliefs, are exactly the problem with the far right, far left, and why the country is currently in deep woods bear droppings.

Did people make snarky comments when “Pogo” took on politics, like Sen. McCarthy, and others??

Really a shame that a good comic strip takes such cheap shots at the American President. But that is a Socialist for ya…

Fun fact, from someone who was in South Korea in 2010-2013: South Koreans, as a whole, don’t give a cr@p about Kim Jung Un.

Not the way we do over in the USA. They know he’s not going to nuke them, as South Korea is much too close to North Korea for that to make sense. In theory, there’s no safer place to be than South Korea, since nearly everywhere else is within nuking range.

its refreshing for myself who is saturated daily with ever mounting crud oozing from the direction of the house of white that the toddler in chief has uttered yet some more profound words. or backpeddled. or whatever suits his propensity towards self serving noise. Its just cool to see HUMOR regarding politcs. I also read the political cartoons but I REFUSE to read the comments because THOSE would cause my blood pressure to rise. or I’d be tempted to comment! ROFLMAO Thank you Michael Fry, I follow you EVERY day, and if I get inundated by the reality outside my door, I just am grateful it comes to my mailbox and I can catch up and laugh ((hug)) I’m trying to not let the feeling of complete apathy infect me. Its why I STILL LAUGH… keep on, sir, keep on!
