Looks like they got their share of the 600,000,000 pounds. Which reminds me, I need to go shopping.

Obviously this script is a work of fiction. If this were based in reality, a much, much higher proportion of the candies in panel 3 would be chocolate. Why bother with anything else, right?

Who doesn’t want candy all to themselves?

Wife and I were just discussing the other day whether to buy Halloween candy – we’ll wait to see whether there actually is any trick or treating, and if so probably get some and leave it in a bowl outside the front door. Certainly not trying to create too much temptation for ourselves.

Someone wrote that she would slip in toys when the children went trick or treating and pull out some of the candy. The children loved it and wanted to go back out to try to fin the toy house. They never figured out that it was their mother. They were thrilled with the toys, and mother was thrilled that the candy take was much less meaning less sugar highs. I think she never told the children when they grew up what she had done. Love the idea. I would have much rather have had an apple, orange or toy.

Can’t be all yours, RJ, if they’ve already eaten some.
