That seems to be my doctor’s approach. Tests done after having a stent inserted showed a lump on my thyroid. Had to wait several weeks for a biopsy. That was a month ago and yesterday he finally told me it was benign. Thankfully the hospital has a patient portal and I could see the test results the day after the biopsy or I’d have spent that month worrying. Oh, and it was only a month because I agreed to a phone call and not an actual office visit.

At least he doesn’t have his scythe with him! No taking souls today.
