We still have to get through March. March is always unpredictable, like most people born in the month; like my mom use to say and she was born in March. Don’t hurt the messenger.

Around here, it’s not so much the temps as it is the number of hours of daylight that seems to stimulate leaf growth. Right around the vernal equinox is when most trees seem to start with the leaves. Then the pollen explodes.
