Correct me if I’m wrong, but the girl’s name is Patty and the boy’s name is Shermy, right?

This is great. Two doses of classic Peanuts per day. Charles Schulz’s art will live forever.

I noticed there is no copyright date stamped on these comics. Does anyone know when they were first published and if they are running in sync with todays date or will we be getting Christmas comics in mid-summer?

That little girl has to be lucy because she just took that kids umbrella & only lucy would do something like that.

Yes, that’s Patty with Shermy. Both were prominent characters, along with Violet, in the early years before Lucy grew up a little (Charlie Brown used to babysit her, sort of), Linus appeared and Snoopy started walking and flying doghouses. By the end, they were barely on the fringe.

Glad to see these OLD oldies being run here. Thanks, GoComics.

It’s interesting to look at the indices of the Complete Peanuts books. Shermy was tossed over-board years before Patty and Violet, but in later years Patty and Violet might only pop up five or ten times in the two years collected in that given book. Then they disappeared completely, too. (And so did Frieda, and later Pig Pen……….)

Sally also failed in school (although the school building itself had a serious crush on her…….)
