Violet actually has a good point here and I can’t remember that ever happening.

So you wanted he acts like somebody he is not, so he be liked. Id Charlie Brown were a jerk, I would agree, but he’s the nicest guy in the neighborhood, so the problem is not him, is you.

They must all like you to some extent CB, they talk to you whether good or bad. They could ignore you completely.

I love the atmospherics of Schulz’s work— the fish bowl goes away, a curtain somehow appears, even though the characters haven’t moved, but we don’t really care because the environment is an extension of Charlie’s emotional state. Character above all!

Then Lucy, says “Do you wanna play doctor?”
