I never saw Charlie Brown play the violin in later years. I suppose when Schroeder moved into the neighborhood and heard Charlie play, he freaked out and made Charlie stop.

It’s interesting how, in this and other early strips, CB was the one with the interest in classical music, even specifying Beethoven. But after Schroeder was introduced, he took over that role completely, even though he was barely out of diapers.
