Charlie Brown holds Lucy's golf club bag. He says to her, "You want to be Women's State Amateur Golf Champion, don't you? Then don't be so nervous...Calm down.." She holds a club.<BR><BR> "Wish me luck, Charlie Brown...I'll slaughter 'em!" They shake hands and smile.<BR><BR> CRACK! Lucy swings. She is surrounded by the legs of all the adults watching. Charlie Brown cries, "WOW! What a drive!"<BR><BR> As they walk along between the calves of the grown up onlookers, Charlie Brown advises Lucy, "Now, just try to forget about all these people...Just forget about 'em.."<BR><BR> With a crowd of legs waiting behind the ropes, Lucy gets ready to swing. Charlie Brown stands behind her.<BR><BR> She raises her club.<BR><BR> THUMP! She swings.<BR><BR> AN EAGLE. PLUNK! The ball lands in the hole.<BR><BR> SMACK! The ball sails forward.<BR><BR> A BIRDIE! From far off, we see the path of the golf ball. Charlie Brown is amazed: "!" [PANEL 11]: Charlie Brown declares, "WOW! There's NOTHING that can stop you now, Lucy! NOTHING!"<BR><BR>

It’s weird seeing Charlie Brown and Lucy being such good friends. Though I guess there was never any real malice amongst any of the neighborhood kids.

That seems like a pretty advanced course for an amateur game, if you can get an Eagle, which is two under par.
