"HEY! How about getting in the game?" Lucy races up to join. "Go away!" Schroeder announces. He watches as Chalrie Borwn kneels on the ground and prepares to shoot a marble.<br> <br> "I've got my own marble.." she begins. Schroder kneels down next to Charlie Brown. "Well, 'Hurray' for you!" he retorts.<br> <br> Charlie Brown opens his arms and says, "If Lucy wants to play, let's let her play..she can't hurt anything.."<br> <br> Lucy crouches down beside him. "Thank you, Charlie Brown..what do I do?" she asks. He points to the chalk circle drawn on the ground: "Just try to knock the marrbles out of the ring.."<br> <br> "Rats.." Lucy comments as her marble bounces.<br> <br> "Rats!" she says as her marble bounces higher.<br> <br> "RATS!" Lucy cries as she bounces her marble again.<br> <br> She stands up and wails, "WHAT A STUPID GAME!"<br> <br> STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! Lucy takes her revenge on the marbles by crushing them under her feet.<br> <br> She walks off, thinking black thoughts. <br> <br> Schroeder, standing, and Charlie Brown, kneeling, are left staring at the remnants of the marbles. Schroeder mimics Charlie Brown: "'Let's let her play...She can't hurt anything.."<br> <br>
