A child covered in a sheet asks another child covered in a sheet, "Is that you, Lucy?"<br> <br> She replies, "Uh, Huh...Linus will be along in a minute.."<br> <br> She continues, "He was having a litle trouble with his costume.." They both look to their right with the other child being confused.<br> <br> Linus approaches them wearing a sheet filled with holes. Lucy explains to the other child, "He's not very good yet with a scissors!"<br> <br>

And of course in the TV show, this was Charlie Brown’s costume. Not only did it make more sense to show him as being the one who couldn’t do anything right, Linus (spending his Halloween waiting for the Great Pumpkin) wasn’t in costume.
