Charlie Brown points at Lucy and says, "You? You admit you were wrong? You? You?!"<BR><BR> Lucy says, "Of course, Charlie Brown . . . And I'll admit that I've been wrong before . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy says, "I remember the last time I was wrong about something . . . It was in 1958 I think . . . Along in July sometime, or was it August? Yes!"<BR><BR> Lucy says, "The last time I was wrong was in August 1958 . . . I think it was on a Monday and . . ." Charlie Brown says, "Oh, good grief!"<BR><BR>

There were four Monday strips in August of 1958. Two of them did not feature Lucy, so she’s either saying that she was wrong to ask Linus what he was doing (when drawing pictures in the air) or that she was wrong when she told Linus that it’s “a bunch of grapes” instead of “a group of grapes.” It’s unlikely she’s talking about doing something morally wrong, but it’s even possible she now thinks she was wrong to take Linus’ grapes in the first..Otherwise, she could be referring to an instance that was not drawn for the strip, of course.
