    Still, being a late model puppy, Snoopy would have come with a factory warranty. That’s a big plus when buying a used dog.

    This is not the only time Snoopy has been referred to as a “used dog”.

    When this strip was adapted into “Snoopy, Come Home” four years later, Linus’s reason why they returned Snoopy was changed to “But they had to move.” Then of course, it ended up making a contradiction with “Snoopy’s Reunion” in the early 90s where the reason Lila returns Snoopy is because of their apartment implementing a new “no dogs allowed” rule.

    I note that he put it in October, the month the strip started and the month Snoopy first appeared.
