Frieda says, "You know what we have to do on a day like today, don't you?"<BR><BR> Snoopy disappears inside of his doghouse as Frieda stands outside and watches.<BR><BR> Snoopy walks by Frieda wearing a fur coat, a hat, and carrying a school pennant.<BR><BR>

And what Snoopy does in Panel 4, is simply one of his ways of making fun of her, by feigning ignorance(and also his way of trying to hint that he wishes she would leave him alone and mind her own business, as long as he really was content to lie atop his doghouse nonstop.)

Now Frieda has inspired Snoopy to wear different clothes or any clothes at all.
