Sally stands looking out the window. She goes over to Charlie Brown, who is sitting on the bean bag reading. She points off in front of her and asks,"They say the easter beagle is coming...aren't you going outside?" He replies,"Not this time"<BR><BR> Snoopy bounces along with a basket over his arm and throwing eggs out of it. Lucy runs up to him smiling with her hands outstretched; Linus runs next to her exclaiming,"It's the easter beagle! He's here!"<BR><BR> Snoopy smiles and bounces along. He tosses an egg to Linus who says,"Thank you, easter beagle....thank you..."<BR><BR> Snoopy tosses eggs to Eudora and Marcie. Marcie smiles and says,"Thank you, Easter Beagle" Eudora echoes,"Thank you"<BR><BR> Sally stands behind Snoopy and exclaims,"What about Me? Don't I get anything? You have to give Me something!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown sits on a bean bag reading. He asks,"Well, how did it go?"<BR><BR> He turns to Sally as she stands with the Easter Beagle's basket over her head. She grimaces and exclaims,"If a birthday beagle ever comes around, tell him to forget it!"<BR><BR>

On any other occasion, Lucy would be writing Snoopy off as “that stupid beagle,” but here she is playing along with the Easter Beagle bit.
