Yeah Snoops… there’s no-one to ice-waltz with, or laugh and help you up when you fall down, or snuggle up against to keep out the cold, or just to say… !! Good Grief… I gotta stop… I’m welling up now!! Sniff… somebody hold me….
True. There’s a world of difference between being alone and being lonely. You can be lonely in the middle of a noisy party with a hundred other people.
@orinoco wombleI was having cut/paste problems too with (my new) Windows7 & IE (8?). But for me it really only affects pasting with the right mouse button; V still works (and that proves to me that the right mouse ‘copy’ is not affected). True ‘cut’ (which I seldom use) might also not work, but X probably would. Different sessions seem to affect different sites differently for the mouse – can’t figure out why, but as long as I have a work-around I’m not too upset about having to go back to the ‘old technology.’
@orinoco wombleSorry, my previous note lost my indicator for the use of the control key along with the ‘V’ and ‘X’. Guess angle brackets are assumed to be html commands.
I’m listening to audio of the David Michaelis biography of Schultz and Peanuts. One point he makes is that the idea of portraying characters (including a dog) with normal emotions was pretty pioneering. In short, this is not a comic gag at all but a regular emotion. And Schultz pulls it off!
I just hope they eventually post the Snoopy Astronaut comics… “You can tell I’m returning because I’m facing the other way!” “I even beat the stupid cat next door!”

But the snow glistens in the moonlight and the smooth ice invites you to glide along in a magical setting full of beauty.

Joe Cool wouldn’t, but Snoopy is a method actor – his characters reflect his moods and his circumstances.

Google “The Skaters of Ghost Lake.” I’d copy it here, but for some reason I can’t cut and paste in IExplorer, and Chrome won’t let me see the strips.
