First Charlie Brown was six (or so…) when Lucy was a baby, then he was six (or so…..) when Linus was a baby, and maybe eight (or so…..) when Sally was born. One of my favorite all-time Peanuts lines was when Linus told Charlie Brown why a romance with Sally could never work out: “I’m five years older than she is! That might not seem like much now, but, good grief, when I’m 95 she’ll only be 90!”
