Was this the first time the Little Red Headed Girl was mentioned as liking Linus? I know it wasn’t the last time.

“Nothing you can do because I’m stuck like glue to my friend…” (Apologies and parody of Mary Wells’ 1964 Motown hit “My Guy”).

I remember the hurt. It hurts!

I would love to watch Linus pitch while he is holding his blanket.

CB, Don’t hate..Imitiate! Then again, this is wishy-washy Charlie Brown. he’ll probably get that line mixed up..

Coincidentally, there’s an interesting similarity between this and today’s Peanuts Begins strip (in that one it’s Snoopy who gets hugged while CB gets annoyed).

Charlie Brown will be giving Linus the cold shoulder for the next month or so.
