We had a Beagle regularly in my 60’s High School classes. It was the football coach’s dog. Someone would always let him in, someone would always take him out. Repeat that several times, every day : )
One of my Shelties flunked out the first year.He kept mistaking the other students for sheep and was always trying to herd them into bunches. It was exasperating. – We decided that school wasn’t for him to and enrolled him in trade school, instead.
