Instead of going over the fence, the first pitch went over you, Snoopy!
Flashback to the episode of MASH with Col. Sherman “Hoops” Potter trying to break the record.
Now maybe the strip will move on.
It looks like they are going to walk him!
Hey, no trying to bean Snoopy!
All that advice just went over his head!
It’s a shame that CB will screw up and spoil Snoopy’s chance to tie the record.
That looks outside of the strike zone to me.
Try keeping your eye on the ball, Snoopy.
Well, maybe Snoopy can beat Babe’s number of walks reacord.
I’ve been reading this strip since…well, let’s just say that I remember reading this storyline when it first appeared, and I just noticed: nobody in this league wears batting helmets.
That’s what happened to Pete Rose during his streak. They pitched around him. Sissies.
I’m guessing it didn’t happen. Never heard of a candy bar named “Oh Snoopy!”
Good luck Snoop! Don’t let the lack of thumbs cause you to drop the bat.
definitely a ball. …Snoopy’s strike zone must be infinitesimal
What’s killing the sport? Bases on balls.
Who’s pitching—“Nuke” LaLoosh?
So, Hank Aaron went past Babe Ruth’s home run record in 1974. We talking that year for this Charlie Brown comic strip?
When did Snoopy start holding the bat in his paws? If he got a homer when he held the bat in his teeth, does it still count?
Snoopy’s home run proficiency is more impressive given his height. Hank Aaron didn’t have that problem.
