Poor Linus plays second fiddle to Spike!

I love the first panel here. Just spike starring innocently at Linus like “Who’re you shouty stranger?” it’s so adorable.

Lucy doesn’t really care about Spike, she just saw yet another way to hassle Linus.

Lucy, if you care about Spike so much, why don’t you put him up in YOUR room? :/

The reason Lucy takes care of Spike.

Lucy, you should know better than to mess with Linus’s blanket.

And as we can see in the last panel, he’s also wearing some of your hair under his nose…

Of course Linus, isn’t your bed in your bedroom? Where else would it be?

Lucy’s torment of Linus goes far beyond “sibling obnoxiousness.” She is a narcissistic abuser.

Well, now, this is the Lucy we’re used to. Though caring for Snoopy’s brother, you know that dumb dog’s brother, the human she shares the house with, Linus, has to sleep on the couch. I guess at some point she realizes this is brother of that dumb dog and kicks it out of the house.

You’ve crossed the Rubicon Lucy.

Spike has never had this kind of luxury before. He must feel so comfortable.

Lucy just taking what she wants. Back to the Lucy we know and love.

And reasons like this is why Lucy stoppen to be one of my favorites.

I foresee a huge brawl with Linus taking Spike in the second.

Of course she doesn’t put Spike in HER bed.

Who knew chicken soup cures all forms of dog ills?

Despite Spike not having health insurance, he will receive care where and while he can.

Time to move him Linus. Lucy’s room would make a better recovery room. And her robes are a far better hospital gown.

I don’t know whose editorial cartoon is or how to find it, but I saw Charlie Brown wearing a red baseball cap and because of that his home was raided by the FBI.

Back in the 1990s, I met a nurse who still wore the old outfit, complete with hat. She was profiled in the papers at the time as the last one in the Detroit area.

Lucy’s better side is interesting.
