Actually, the growth rate is already slowing down. It took longer to go from six billion to seven billion than it did to go from five billion to six billion. In fact, there are some demographers who believe that the population will pass nine billion sometime this century and then start declining, and within a couple of centuries the population could be below four billion.

I heard that GMO’s reduce fertility. and federally not required to label as such. they’re in a majority of crops grown in the ‘US today. it’s hard to get away from them. i dont know about it being a government conspiracy, but if that truly is a side effect after generations of ingestion, the result will certainly be population reduction. face it, people, there are TOO MANY OF US!!! Population growth in the US is slowing, so is Europe but parts of the rest of the world are booming.

In reality though, if you take the land surface, divide by number of people on the planet and give each person a piece they can all fit in the state of Texas…but just saying to put things into perspective. The real problem isn’t so much over population it is everyone wanting to live in the same tiny area in a city. Something about living in cities turns people into Democrats too, while living in small towns turns them conservative…go figure.

You want to start saving the planet, lets get rid of stupid laws that require people to have lawn and waste water on them in deserts and stuff.

I’m surprised Rat didn’t suggest a good long war (started by duck), or a civil war…civil war reduced a lot of the US population…WWI and WWII really reduced it as well.
