So does Marigold rest her drinks on Phoebe or is it the other way around? also a lot of things are pointless in a lake.

I really like the Lake Monster’s reflection in the lake. That must’ve taken a while to draw!

For some reason this story arc reminds me of a story called, “Tea With the Black Dragon”.

I didn’t notice the reflection until someone mentioned it. That’s detail that you rarely see in comics nowadays.

I got a chuckle out of the teapot seemingly floating on the lake, too. I’m loving this cozy interlude between Marigold and Ringo. And is that advice for Ringo from Marigold, or is she ASKING for a coaster??

My advice, get jused to them wanting to ride you.

This strip fails some sort of fantasy-style Bechtel test. The fantasy creatures are well-defined characters with names, but are discussing their relatively normal companions. Eh, still not bad. Plus they sort-of pass the test at the end.
I’m sure nobody cares.
