Autumn, the time of year you have to wear tights or a legging with boots, but can get away with wearing a shirt. The case does defeat the purpose, though.
“My Shimmering Loveliness” would be an excellent name for a rock band. Or, maybe not.

And you get Schrodinger’s battery. It is both alive and dead until you remove the phone case, at which point it is definitely dead.
