Does Opal wear her apron to bed too?

She wears it in public to hide her bulge.

I don’t get women sometimes.

I’m on Earl’s side. I usually wear my tattered comfortable clothes when puttering around in the yard. So what? That is, unless you’re insecure.

Every guy needs some “working-around-the-yard” duds.

I wonder how long it took him to get the ‘paint splatters’ looking realistic so he could wear them in public and have the neighbors think he really was a ‘handy man’?

Opal reminds me of Hyacinth Bucket in Keeping Up Appearances.

Opal I diagree with you this time. Earl doesn’t need to dress up working in yard. That fence is not that high. Wind took a portion of our fence down. Neighbor wanted keep what was there let him. Put up a newer better fence and up higher sitting on boards underneath fence. The guy who done this with hubby’s help wanted level ground not. Now more privacy.

Neighbors don’t watch all blinds are closed.

Maybe it’s a generational thing….my parents were always saying “What will the neighbors think?” Drove me nuts!

I once knew someone who put on a shirt and tie to mow the lawn…

and pants? Please say there were pants, 44lefty!

Boy Opal can’t get arrested in this town. I’d love to take up for her but I don’t care for her either, but NOBODY is as offensive as Hyacinth.

The neighbors will think whatever they want, just as they always do. Who cares?
