You had to think that when the carton had a promotion for a WB show. ;-)

Time to defrost the frig Opal.

Time to buy individually wrapped.ice cream bars.

And don’t buy the cheap stuff. Life is to short for crappy ice cream.

For a moment I was trying to picture hairy ice cream.

Yeah I wouldn’t eat it either Nelson.

How do you keep ice cream that long? My problem is making it last until the next grocery day!

For most when ice cream is bought does not last long. We do not buy ice cream.

Ahh, good old ice cream with tiny mountains of ice crystals that crunch in your mouth with each spoon full

With Earl around I seriously doubt there is any hairy ice cream in the freezer.

Placing the Icecream container upside down will prevent the formation of ice cyrstles

My ex was famous for putting almost anything, a spoonful of leftover vegetables, in a butter dish, left over mystery meat, in a plastic bag with no date, and God knows what else, and then leaving it in the freezer for years. It would get so frost burned and disfigured, that you couldn’t tell what it was. She still wouldn’t throw it away.

Even the good stuff will grow ice crystals if left in the freezer too long! Just scrape them off and pretend they weren’t there to begin with.

I scream , You scream , We all scream for ice cream…

My grandmother kept stuff in the freezer for so long that it actually GOT mold. Now that takes some doing!

I miss the crystally kind.My self defrosting freezer gives it a rubbery film.

Hot fudge melts the crystals.

I just toss my crystalized ice cream into the blender with some milk and make myself a shake/smoothie. You’d never know the difference.
