I’ve not gotten the paper in years… and that’s a good thing. The Internet is my newspaper! Now that I think about it, how else can you make papier-mâché crafts without newspaper?
I would happily subscribe to my newspaper. I’ve read newspapers all over the world, and still think mine (Sarasota Herald-tribune) is the best. However my failing sight has forced me to give it up, because I can’t enlarge the font in order to be able to read it.Now I read my daily news online, but not by choice,but because I CAN ENLARGE THE FONT...Never take your blessings for granted!
i’m with earl. everything bad is going to happen to the earth, and to people, and to _________________ (fill in the blank) in the next 5 billion years so ‘why bother’ with anything today!!-at least that seems to be what politicians, scientists, greenies, labor unions, preachers, ‘journalists’ (and i use that word very lightly), news programs (and i use that title very lightly), internet bloggers, world leaders, etc. etc. say/write!!-oh wait – maybe if all the creatures on planet earth will quit passing gas we can all still be around in 5 million years. rofl-like i said i’m with earl!!!!
Actually the Universe isn’t going to end for a long, long, long time. Neither will our Galaxy, but the Sun will burn out in 4 or 5 Billion years. That will be a problem for us on Earth as it turns into a Red Giant star… Hopefully we’ll have left this planet long before that happens.

I have a buddy that reads the newspaper every day from page to page , even reads the classified… Then does the crossword puzzle.
