Tigger - Depends on the organizational bent of the Plugger. I use the clear ziploc bags & label if there’s any chance it will be hard to tell what it is later. (Especially anything made with ground meat & a tomato sauce base, like taco meat, spaghetti sauce, chili, etc.) My MIL wraps everything in foil or opaque containers, but doesn’t label them. So when she’s looking through the freezer or fridge, she has to open them to figure it out. You’d think she’d learn, but considering she’s over 70, I’m not holding my breath!

True Pluggers don’t use zip-top freezer bags – true Pluggers wrap such things in butcher paper, secured with 3/4” masking tape, with the date & contents written on the front in grease pencil. Rmom, your MIL isn’t a true Plugger.

Also, Tigger, true Pluggers learned spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and such things in early grade school. Embrace it.
