Take a picture, it will last longer…..As long as you wrap it in plastic…..One of my grandmothers did not wrap anything in plastic, except clothing and pictures in storage..The other grandmother only wrapped her lampshades in plastic, and the occasional statue and doll could be found in an upside down 2 litre pop bottle capsule (From the time when the bottoms of pop bottles were a separate piece of plastic from the bottle itself, like they are today. She cut the top off of the bottle, took the false, stabilizing bottom off of the real bottom of the bottle, flipped the real bottle upside down back into the false stabilizing base and had a doll/statue capsule with a clear rounded top. Didn’t work so well with the green sprite/ginger ale bottles though….And when she passed, the family gave me all her floor and table lamps, and I still have all her original shades but one. The one that had to be replaced was on a bedside lamp that fell over and crushed one side of the liner part of the shade so it fell apart and was hanging out of the shade and also made weird patterns on the wall. I did take the plastic off, because the plastic itself was in bad shape… Still undecided if I’ll seek out new plastic….

Do not sit on plastic slipcovers while you are wearing shorts! You WILL leave a layer of skin behind. It may even be FROM your behind!
