Broke my antique dentures one time. They couldn’t help me either.

Have a friend look on eBay — it’s what saved my pitiful arse when a set of of candlesticks bit the dust after a dinner-party

The old stuff is better and safer! Corning wear made in the USA does not explode in the oven like the chinese junk.

I had a problem like that when my favorite Pyrex baking dish (just the right size for enchiladas) exploded when I put it in the sink. I couldn’t find one anywhere and had to start a campaign to get them to make them again. At least they did and I can cook essentials again.

Tiki , not all the “youngin’s” are complete retards , thank you very much!

And this one borders on utter ridicule , I could understand a china set , but a MIXING BOWL?!

eBay replaced my mixer’s beater when my daughter broke them. The mixer is about 60 years old, and was my mom’s. Still works better than a new one.

I don’t know of anything in the world you can’t find on eBay! And if they don’t have it right now, then keep checking . . . because it’s bound to show up there eventually!!!!!

My Mom and I went into an antique shop once and found a nut grinder exactly like the one we were still using. And, ours had a lot more teeth. I still have that grinder (although I use a different one with a larger capacity).

eBay is the best. Like with a set of mixing bowls, if you break one, the set is ruined. No problem finding one on eBay. And in the old days if you broke a cup or salad plate, your dinnerware was just short forever. No more. I had a ton of fun selling my mom’s old kitchen stuff until eBay and PayPal and postal fees started making it unprofitable. I still buy there, though. Say you have a favorite shirt and your chances of finding another are next to nil. You’d have to burn gallons of gas just driving around trying to find one. A few key strokes and you’ve got another identical shirt for a spare. Love it!
