So many of the “new” flat-screen “high definition” television sets on our block went on the blink that all of the pluggers here – NONE of whom had hauled their old Analog sets off to the landfill yet – just pulled their old Analog television sets out of the basement, hooked them up to a converter box and can STILL watch television! You know you are a Plugger because you are STILL able to watch television on your old Analog set (with a converter box), while your neighbors – who were relying only on their brand new, fancy, flat-screen “high definition” television sets will NOT be able to watch television again until they can raise enough money to have their brand new, fancy, flat-screen “high definition” television sets repaired!
I heard that these new hi-def TVs are only good for about 10 years while the old solid state ones are literally good for a lifetime….I know because I have one that’s been on just about 24 hours a day for the past 20+…then we talk about progress

If it’s “brand new,” then it’s under warranty.

We had that situation once – a tv on top of another tv.

Real pluggers get their signals OTA, on a home made antenna!
