Do not bet on that! We moved to a retirement community in Florida and guess you I ran into while attending a class. People in your class/HS move to the opposite coast also.
What’s scary is I can remember almost all the names of the kids from my kindergarten and 1st grade school photos than I can remember the young woman a young man married 5 years ago.
My mother used to chew me out because I’d forgotten who was who when I’d come back home from ‘somewhere’ after a twirl or two around the world..Family reunions on her side were the worst. People I’d only met once or twice way back when I was a kid were just ‘faces’ to me.. Now I’m getting to that stage of life that if I sit in fronta a Winn-Dixie long enough, SOMEbody from my past life will walk by !
Try being a teacher and remember a student you had in class 30 years ago. Granted, if he was a pain 2 and a half feet below the neck, You remember who he is the moment you hear his voice.

Contrary to popular belief, names go before short-term memory. 3 1/2 hours ago, I hit 80.
